With “Un Paese a Sei Corde” let evocative guitar sounds wrap around you!

The most suggestive places among Lake Orta and its gentle slopes will be animated by magic sounds of the 5th edition of “Un paese a sei corde”.
On June and August 2010 the music event will deal with 13 concerts performed only by using acoustic guitar in such a various ways. Moreover, the different guitar sound genres and styles played during the festival will be focussing on women universe, Italian musicians and, for the first time, sing-songwriters.
During the concerts fingerstyle and flatpicking guitarists will be able to perform traditional and modern music as well as originally rielaborate famous texts in order to play genuine and exciting music.
Let's start on June 5 in the garden of Lagna village in San Maurizio d’Opaglio district: all guitarrists of the Cd “34 Volte Amore”, edited by fingerpicking.net, will present their works live.
On June 12 in the Tallone Hall on the Island of San Giulio near Orta the famous Italian musician Walter Lupi, who has just published a disc as a tribute to Lucio Battisti, will have a performance with his guitar.
On June 13 on the San Giacomo churchyard in Soriso Paolo Sereno will offer to the public his "Movie Concert", a show composed by virtuous guitar arrangements together with creative movie scenes.
On June 19 in Cressa Roberto Palmas will propose a mix of traditional country music and celtic one.
On June 20 in San Bernardo church in Pogno Davide Mastrangelo and Masella Restuccia will perform their concert by means of music and voice.
On June 26 in Gozzano there will be Roberta di Lorenzo and Tony de Gruttola's show.
At the end, on June 27 the courtyard of Pettenasco medieval house will host Jacques Stotzem, whose last Cd "Catch the Spirit" has gained the first place in Belgium top chart.
“Un paese a sei corde” will then continue in August with other 6 appointments. Their protagonists will be Davide Sgorlon, Giò Marinuzzi with Andrea Filippucci, Paolo Giordano, Bob Bonastre, Sergio Altamura and Alberto Caltanella.
All concerts have free entry and beginning at 21.00.
Splendid different locations will give added value to the shows. Therefore, during the concerts visitors and guitar lovers will also be able to discover well-known as well as hidden nice places of the multifaceted Cusio region such as an old cabin for electricity transformation - a monument of industrial archeology - in Gravellona Toce or the San Nicolao churchyard in Sacro Monte of Orta with a breathtaking panorama of the lake.
