Migiandone di Ornavasso

MIGIANDONE

Migiandone, ancient celtic fortress, was transformed in a walser village in the medieval age.
It is a caracteristic village in the southern area of Ossola Valley, known as the most cold country of Italy (considering the altitude).

It offers a natural ice rink and a curling rink.
In winter it is also possible to do cross-country ski, thanks to a lighted ski trail.
