Inside this museum we find a cross-section of the culture and life of the people of the Valle Cannobina. Local costumes and traditional objects are exhibited here: toys, pottery, wool manufacturing and butter making tools, as well as a range of other craft and farming tools and household utensils, mostly in wood. Several dummies are dressed in local traditional costumes of this valley. The costumes are different in every village and include pleated skirts and slips in different colours, as well as shawls, hemp shirts, embroidery, lace, the characteristic ‘peduli’ (walking boots), and much more... Fine items of decorated and embroidered clothing are also displayed, as well as a collection of photographs depicting costumes of times gone by.
