From Turin to Lake Maggiore by tourist bus. And then reach the foot of Mount Rosa!

A new service is available on Sundays to let tourists in Turin visit the wonderful places located on Lake Maggiore. Moreover a shuttle service can be reserved in Verbania to reach Macugnaga, the “pearl of Mount Rosa”.

Turin city is so next to Lake Maggiore... why don't profit of the new interesting project by the Province of Verbano Cusio Ossola, in partnership with Piedmont Region, the Province of Novara and the technical support of Vco Trasporti and S.A.F. transport companies, to visit this beautiful lake and famous Borromeo Islands or Piedmont regional capital, its churches, museums and shops... in just one day!

Service 1: tourist bus line with four everyday runs, whose just two have to be reserved.
Departures: Turin and Verbania (Lake Maggiore)
In the morning: Turin-Verbania; Verbania-Turin
Late in the afternoon: Verbania-Turin; Turin-Verbania
Intermediate stops on the lake: Arona, Meina, Lesa, Belgirate, Stresa.
Price: 10,50 € Turin-Verbania or viceversa; 9,10 € Turin-Meina/Lesa/Belgirate/Stresa/Baveno or viceversa; 7,70 € Turin-Arona or viceversa. TICKET ON BOARD. Special tickets of Lines 2/3 can be reserved phoning tel. 800 503001 or +39 0323 518711 by 11 of Saturday preceding the trip.

The Municipality of Macugnaga offers the possibility to spend some free time in a nice tourist town at the foot of Mount Rosa, the second highest mountain in the Alps.
There visit San Bernardo's Fair (08/07/2012), the most important Walser handicraft exhibition of the territory (i.e. wooden, stone, tissue, iron, ceramic products): by the occasion several artisans will show you their work directly and produce real pieces of art in their own stand. Otherwise relax yourself in contact with alpine nature or discover the Guia Gold Mine, the Walser House Museum (XVI century) or the Mountain Museum!

Service 2: special shuttle from Verbania (Lake Maggiore) to Macugnaga (Anzasca Valley, Ossola region)
UNDER RESERVATION.
Validity: on Sunday, July 8th (San Bernardo's Fair in Macugnaga) and every Sunday until September 30th.
