Ossola Valley: Easter with ski, marble, culture, gold, traditions and... eggs! Start: 24/03/2010 13:57 In the Ossola Valleys Easter still means winter sports: at the moment the majority of the ski stations of Neveazzurra is open and we’re sure you’ll have fun skiing on them! If you prefer something different (or simply you’re not a ski fan!), there are lot of interesting proposals. Lake Orta: thatre and art for a "pure culture" Easter. Theatre and art: pure culture to live your Easter on Lake Orta. On April, 4 in Orta will be inaugurated the exhibition: “The Lake. Paintings of the eighteenth century between Piedmont and Lumbardy”, an interesting show, held in the historical halls of Palazzo Penotti Ubertini, which propose some of the most famous masterpieces of Piedmontese and Lombard artists of the eighteenth century. The exposition, one of the events organised by “Ortissima”, will remain open till October, 3. Easter between sacred and profane Easter is a holy day rich of symbols which refers to the mistery of Resurrection: important moment of the Christian life coincides with the “nature resurrection”, after the long winter.
