Verbania: Camelia National Exhibition on March

The camelia is the official flower of Lake Maggiore.

In spring a National Exhibition, the unique in Italy, is always dedicated to the perfect flower in the wonderful location of Villa Giulia in Verbania.
Its 45th Edition will occurr on March 26th-27th 2011.
During the occasion experts, lovers and visitors will be able to admire hundreds of varieties cultivated by flore growers belonging to the association “Consorzio Fiori Tipici del lago Maggiore”.

Many other events are in program during the two days too: meetings, cultivation lessons, gardening laboratories for children, book stands and camelia tea tastings.

Not only: guided tours of camelia collections in local botanical gardens (Villa Taranto and Villa San Remigio in Verbania, Isola Madre and Villa Anelli in Oggebbio) will be possible too.

... An interesting occasion to spend your weekend on the lake, visit the tourist attractions of Verbania, relax on the roads along the lake or have shopping in its historical centre. Profit it!
