From March 22 daily ferry on Lake Orta

The pearl of Lake Orta: the Island of San Giulio

Since Sunday, March 14 the public boats of the Navigazione Lago d'Orta have been operative, reaching the Island of San Giulio as well as all destinations round the lake. At the website www.navigazionelagodorta.it a new rich program has been published with several journeys, a timetable and the prices of season 2010. The Cusio ferry company also includes special cruises on the lake in occasion of main local events. First of all, during the Omegna Fireworks World Championship ("Fiori di Fuoco") in August there will be some night boat tours for whom will want to have a priviledge and romantic view of thousands of coloured lights brightening the Omegna Gulf and sky. Moreover, it's possible to hire ferries of the Navigazione Lago d'Orta for private night cruises, ceremonies or group excursions and to have buffet service on board.
