Easter in the Verbano: music, thatre, art and religious traditions

Culture, enjoyment and religious traditions will enrich your Easter in the Lake District: you’ll have the chance to enjoy concerts, expositions and events to live in these places these holy days.
Let’s start with two interesting expositions: the first was opened on March, 14 in Villa Giulia in Verbania: MASBEDO – this is the title – proposes some photo-works and videos exposed to offer a complete vision of the works of Nicolò Massazza and Jacopo Bedogni.
The second one, “30 x 30 Art for the F.O.P.", will be visitable till April 17 in Casa Ceretti, venue of the “Landscape Museum for the Contemporary Art” of Verbania: lots of artists take part to the exposition, selling their works (30cm x 30 cm). The proceeds will support the F.O.P. Association.
If you prefer music, there are three concerts for you: on Monday, April 5, at 9 p.m. in the PalaSport of Verbania, “MUSICAL AND PASSION” will propose music by Andrew Lloyd Webber.
In Cannero Riviera, on Sunday April 4, at 9.15 p.m. a recital of violin solo in the Church of the city: protagonist will be the talented violinist Raffaella Morelli.
In Verbania, on Friday, April 9 the Church of Madonna di Campagna will be the venue (at 9 p.m.) of the last concert of “Verbania Musica”, featuring music by Haydn and Prokofiev.
Verbania will also guest the little market of “CreArtisti”: skilled artisans will create, expose and sell their works on the lakeside of Verbania Pallanza, on April 5 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Important appointment for the animals’ lovers in the “Fattoria del Toce”, where you will have the chance to see and buy little ducks, gooses and guinea-hens… The “Spring Fair” will be held in Verbania Fondotoce till May, 2.
For the ones who prefer an open air day and a little bit of shopping, we could recommend the “Artisan Fair” on the lakeside of Baveno, on April, 5 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Baveno guests also the personal exhibition of the artist Giorgio da Valeggia, who will expose some of his most known works. Opened from 8 to 18 April in the municipality of Baveno.
In the end Trarego Viggiona will hold the second edition of “Sentiero d’Arte”: from April 2 to 5, this little village on Lake Maggiore will be enriched with the works of 21 italian and foreign artists: you will have the possibility to visit houses and gardens of these artists…
