“Neveazzurra”: the winter sport paradise

In our territory “Distretto Turistico dei Laghi, Monti e Valli” the ski district “Neveazzurra“ is waiting for you!

150 Km runs and trails with programmed snow system, 50 well spread, innovative and safe ski complexes in 1.000-3.000 Meter altitudes, special events, several sport activities possible there (down-hill or cross-country skiing, ski climbing, snow boarding, free riding, eli-skiing, ice skating, climbing on icefalls, snow parks, etc.), wonderful mountain resorts (i.e. Baitina di Druogno, Antrona, Devero, Domobianca, Formazza, Macugnaga, Mottarone, Pian di Sole, Piana di Vigezzo and S. Domenico) and a seasonal Ski Pass.

An unique ski district among Ossola, Cusio und Verbano regions, able to offer to sport fans as well as to visitors a variety of entertainments and pleasures – for example cross-country skiing (full-equipped trails in Formazza Riale and San Michele, S. Maria Maggiore, Trasquera, Macugnaga, Antrona Piana and Alpe Devero), ice skating (day-and-night rinks in Macugnaga, Antrona Piana, Premia, Formazza, S. Maria Maggiore, Ornavasso and Malesco), snowboard, free ride, eliski or down-hill skiing (kilometres and kilometres long and panoramic runs on the slopes of majestic Mount Rosa and Lepontine Alps) – as well as beautiful landscapes, lake views (on Mottarone Mount or in Pian di Sole) and rich nature (in Antrona Valley).

About a hundred routes on foot with snow shoes thanks to the circuit “Ciaspolando tra Laghi e Monti” (ten days in all valleys of High Piedmont). A real form of slow sport and tourism!

The new VCO Provincial Ski pass has come: by subscribing just one ticket you will have access to the whole “Neveazzurra” ski system for the entire season.

Prices are the same as last year. Until November 20th, seasonal Vco Ski pass 530 €uro, Senior 460 €uro, Junior 360 €uro. News 2012/2013: the “10 Ski Runs” Carnet at 260 €uro... to ski for 10 non-consecutive times wherever you like in each Neveazzurra ski resort!
If you buy the seasonal ski pass now, you will have the guarantee to ski all winter long before the season very beginning at a special rate!
The presale dedicated to 2012/2013 winter season is open until November 20th 2012.
The Ski pass can be:
- reserved on line until November 20th 2012 BY CLICKING HERE.
- physically picked up at the office of Pro Loco Varzo Tourist Association - via Largo Pletti 3, 28868 VARZO (Vb) (next to Bar Centro), open from November 5th to 20th 2012, from Mondays to Saturdays, from 17:00 to 19:00 (on Sundays closed).
